We are committed to the dissemination of scientifically validated behavioral therapies and evidence-based practices.

Relentless pursuit of improvement is not our motto – it’s our process. With almost a decade of experience in dissemination research and development, we continue to lead the field as we explore novel, undiscovered training solutions. Challenge your own preconceived expectations and check out our products – we think you will be pleasantly surprised.

Just as your clients are all unique requiring individualized, flexible treatment, you are a unique learner requiring individualized, flexible training. Train when you want to, at your own pace, and for as long as you want to.  Want to learn DBT in your pajamas with a steaming cup of coffee?  Care to learn exposure therapy at the beach under an umbrella?  We can help you do that!

Reading lengthy text is mind-numbing. Clicking ‘next’ is not interactive. Selecting a multiple choice answer is boring. Fill in the blank gives me a headache. Our courses utilize award-winning clinical simulations and interactive exercises that require critical thinking and practical application of clinical skills.

We are on the same team and want the same thing – reducing suffering caused by mental illness.  We do this both by arming mental health providers with the most powerful strategies to help their clients improve as soon as possible, as well as by developing tools for clients to use on their own to enhance their functioning.

The future of the mental health field depends on clinicians’ ability to effectively deliver evidence-based treatments. Our tools are designed to help clinicians learn new treatments quickly and effectively.  Plug into our training solutions and learn effective treatments and clinical strategies now! Your time is valuable and in short supply – our products are direct, potent and poised for instantaneous delivery.

The Behavioral Tech Research story

In 1998 Behavioral Tech’s 's Research and Development (R&D) department began developing and evaluating training methods to make training accessible, affordable, effective, and efficient. In January 2004, with the growth of the organization, The R&D department became Behavioral Tech Research Inc., a separate for-profit entity owned by Dr. Marsha Linehan. Today, Behavioral Tech Research uses information technology and e-learning to develop innovative methods of training mental health providers in evidence-based practices.
